About the Client
Our client is a regulated credit institution operating in a structured financial environment. The company is in an active growth phase and requires a strong operational leader to build scalable processes, drive execution discipline, and ensure operational excellence across all business functions.
Role Overview
The COO will take full ownership of the company's operational framework, ensuring efficiency, compliance, scalability, and execution alignment with strategic objectives.
This role requires a structured, business-oriented leader who understands how regulated financial institutions operate and can translate board-level strategy into operational reality.
The COO will report directly to the Board and act as the central execution driver across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Own and oversee all operational activities of the company.
Design, implement, and optimise end-to-end operational processes.
Drive cross-functional initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
Ensure operational compliance within a regulated credit environment.
Establish clear KPIs and performance monitoring systems across departments.
Lead and align department heads to ensure accountability and execution discipline.
Prepare structured board-level reporting and provide operational transparency.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a senior operational leadership role within a credit institution, lending company, or regulated financial organisation.
Strong understanding of lending lifecycle, underwriting, servicing, and operational risk.
Experience working directly with Board members or executive stakeholders.
Proven ability to scale processes and build structured operational frameworks.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
